Industrial Dewatering Pump Manufacturer

Dewatering means the removal of water from the waste media.

Pumps for dewatering are used for dewatering of mines and dewatering of the sludge.

Dewatering removes excess water from the sludge. The wastewater plant’s main objective is to reduce the volume of the sludge and separate water from the solids. It helps enhance the quality of the sludge and produce renewable energy such as Biogas, Methane, etc. The water is reused for industrial purposes.

The wastewater consists of sludge which comprises 99% water and 1% solids. Dewatering is the final step in the wastewater treatment process. Here water is removed from the sludge before it is disposed of.

Mine Dewatering means to remove groundwater from the mine. The underground water infiltrates the mine when the mine extends below the water level. Mining can be classified into surface mining and sub-surface mining. For Mine dewatering RM, RL and RD types of progressive cavity and AODD pumps are used. These pumps are used for various dewatering applications such as face dewatering, stage dewatering and mine dewatering. The RM series of pumps are used for face dewatering while the RG series Gear Joint design pump effectively handles radial and thrusts loads for maximum performance and long life.
