Helical Rotor Pumps
Helical Rotor Pumps are a sturdy and robust category of Positive Displacement Pumps. These pumps comprise of a helix rubber stator and a helical rotor. The rotor is fitted inside the stator which is lined with rubber. The rotor rotating inside the stator forms cavities via which media is pumped from suction to the discharge end of the pump. The rate of flow of the liquid is usually inversely proportionate to the pressure. These pumps can operate at lower speeds as well and are produce negligible noise. These pumps have high suction lift capability and can be reversely operated.
The non-shearing property of Helical Rotor Pumps make them an ideal choice for a number of applications, including transfer of food items such as butter and yeast without affecting their quality and hygiene. A number of other industries also use these kinds of pumps, like wastewater, paper, ceramic, mining, explosives, paint etc.
